Basically, the problem is that, after over a year, the loyalty-card problem has never been resolved. I have continued to "shop local" and buy dog food here every month, but still have to go through the same time-consuming nightmare of the "loyalty card search" , every single visit.
This time, I took photos of the process. The entire cashwrap was its usual, disorganized mess, and the sales associate could not locate my card. He called out all hands on deck from the back room to search for my card and ring-up the other customers who were waiting patiently behind me.
The "search" associates proceeded to dump out the contents of some plastic containers on the floor, the countertops, and where ever there was space. Others searched through one "recipe box" after another. I joined in the excavation and unearthed several customer cards that were just tossed into the big plastic bins, versus "filed" into the recipe boxes, and handed them to an associate to get filed (otherwise, those customers will be unhappy when they return).
Finally, my card was located, and I immediately took possession of it. I am on bag #11 out of #12, and I do NOT want a repeat of last year's scenario when I come in to redeem it next month.
