  • I will never go back. I found what I thought was a very good deal on one of their used cars online, so I sent an email from the site, asking if it was still available and went to bed. A saleslady called me the next day to tell me it was still available and invite me to call her back to set up a test drive. I wasnt able to return her call because I work at a job where I am not allowed to have my phone. As soon as I left work, I called her back to let her know I was heading over to her dealership, and I could tell she was upset that she had just left for the night. I apologized, even though I really dont have to as a paying customer, and she offered to come back to her dealership to show it to me. At first I liked this approach, because it made me feel like she wanted my business. I eventually realized she just wanted desperately to make a sale. When I arrived the place was about to close within 30 minutes, and I didnt want to inconvenience anyone, so I kept my test drive brief, applied for the loan, and really didnt spec the car out the way I would have, had I arrived earlier in the day. After the loan was approved the next day, I went back to spend more time with the prospective vehicle, making sure that I was going to be happy with my purchase. Interestingly, there were 2 chips on the windshield and the cloth around the rear seat was completely falling off, with pet abrasions and it was missing the levers on both sides that controlled the ability to maneuver the seats. This was well beyond the expected condition of a 2 year old car. One half of the seat flopped down limp and the other didnt move at all, thanks to the damage left by the previous owner. I pointed out the chips in the windshield first, and the saleslady disrespectfully shut me up in front of my kids, acting like it was no big deal. When I then showed her the horrendous back seat, she sighed and said "well what do you expect, its a used car". I didnt even mention the snagged ceiling cloth and minor dings around the edges of everything, which would have been what I expected and paled in comparison to the damage to the seat. I was able to put my hand into the housing where the lever once sat on this manual seat, and get it all the way in up to the wrists. It was clear this vehicle was not ready to be put on the lot, and it was also clear my salesperson could have cared less that I felt this way. I had to ask her permission to look at other cars, and that is when she got very smug. We drove another very nice car, and I was hoping it would work for me, but while I was driving, I was thinking about how it really wasnt the vehicle I had my heart set on. Im trying to raise my teenage sons to be kind, respectful young men, so I was EXTREMELY patient with the attitude she was giving me in front of them, even when she insulted my driving (she said "wow you sure do like that break pedal" - we were in stop in go Monroeville traffic behind the mall, that's pretty much what everyone has to do there). After we got back to the dealership, she went right up to another couple and started selling them a car. I was actually pretty happy at that point, because I thought that she had given up and the pressure was off, so I took my boys to Wendys for some lunch. Thats when I saw she was calling my phone. She left me a terrible voicemail. She basically said that I was ungrateful to leave and not say goodbye after she went out of her way the previous night by coming back to show me the vehicle. This was the tip of the iceberg. I sought out the feedback link on their website, I typed up a long email, just like now, in the hopes it would be sent to someone higher up to coach and develop her. Surprisingly, it was sent to HER. As soon as I hit send, I got a automated read receipt from her inbox, thanking me and letting me know she would get back to me. I can honestly say I have never felt so insulted at an establishment. And to think, there is no way to pass this feedback on. That is why I am here.
