  • THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING TO TEMPE BIKE TO MAKE A PURCHASE!!! On 5/20/12 we spent over a hour with (Tempe Bike Salesman) C. Roy looking for a bike. We selected a bike and decided to rent it prior to buying it. The crook salesman, C. Roy, talked us into buying a 3 bike holder for over $100. The cost rental price was $98.00! We informed C. Roy if we made a purchase we would need to swap out the seat. He told us that Tempe Bike was a (Mom & Pop) bike shop and there wouldn't be a problem or a fee to swap out the seat for no charge. C. Roy promised us that if we made a purchase within 30 days the $98.00 rental fee would be applied towards the price of the new bike. On 5/20/12 we went into Tempe Bike looking for the salesman and the rude older lady (Manager, that would not give us her name) and rude unprofessional salesman told us he was fired and we could not use the $98.00 rental fee towards a new bike purchase and we could not swap out the seat for no charge? We explained to her that her salesman, C. Roy promised that the $98.00 would be applied towards the balance of the new bike and that the seat swap would be handled at no charge. She told us that we "COULD NOT" use the $98.00 towards the new bike purchase and "to swap out the seat it would cost $30.00?" I wanted to share this abominable experience to you prior to you driving over to Tempe Bike and trusting Tempe Bike. DO NOT TRUST TEMPE BIKE!
