this place has slipped notably since ownership changed several years ago: smaller portions, fewer bonafide Cantonese dishes (beef stew, pork ribs, chow fun options) and service ($8 lunch, waitress nowhere to be had till bill, takes $10 and never came back).
it's above average, especially for lunch, but a shell of its former self. that the restaurant charges ($1) for hot tea (cheap tea bag) speaks volumes of the operation.
