  • I tried Epic Salon for the first time yesterday. The receptionist both times I spoke to her was very nice, not snooty like at some places. She quickly got me scheduled for partial highlights with Joanna for the next day. When I came in on Tuesday, I hardly had to wait before Joanna took me back to her station. We discussed exactly what I wanted, beige blonde highlights, and two hours later, that's exactly what I got. In addition, I had a wonderful shampoo and blowout along with a scalp massage. While Epic Salon is not the prettiest place I've been to, it has plenty of seating in the waiting area, a complimentary soda fountain, bottled water, hot coffee, and everything is clean. The price of the services is very reasonable for the level of professionalism that you get. I have paid more than twice as much for the same service and not gotten the results that I got at Epic.
