We stopped in this weekend because we've been having trouble with our Aussie's diet. He doesn't care for the food they fed at the shelter (lamb and rice from mounds), nor the kirkland chicken and rice. In addition to not wanting to eat, he has had some gastrointestinal issues on both, and seems to have some allergies that have gotten worse on the chicken and rice (lots of paw chewing and licking).
I asked the employee for help, and she did ask for me to wait to check someone out (which I thought was okay). But then she loaded us up with like 5 or 6 different free samples of a variety of foods with different protein sources and some grain free. They had a good selection of grooming stuff and other supplies, but were maybe a bit pricier than like mounds or blain's farm and fleet. But, given how helpful they were, I'd probably spend a bit more to support them.
