  • I have this wavy long hair which is hard to style and cut in Toronto. Just bad experiences!!! I called poison ivy for rhe good reviews and Shamin booked me right for that day..I asked her to have somebody who could cut wavy hair..she said no problem. When I went with Shamin(new owner of poison ivy) I told her I wanted and extreme change!! And I wanted to trim just part of my head. She gave me excellent advises of how to do it. Shamin trimmed my ling hair to 1cm in one side and gave lots of movement and lightness to the other side I was very happy!!! My hair looks awesome!! She put nice blond colour on the trimmed part and black in the long side...I told her I have sensitivity to chemicals and she used special one without bleach (I have brown hair colour)...the colour is just awesome!! I have 4 weeks and colour is still there!!! She taught me how to style my hair and gave me excellent advises and she is very easy going!! I just love her! I came back for an advise of my hair and she did tea for me while talking and I decided to wax..wawwwww the special indian recipe she uses is very natural and leave your skin sooooo nice and soft!! She also did my eyebrows and let me tell you that I love my thick eyebrows and somehow every time I want to style them they want them thin like a puppet lol so it's hard to find someone who have same eyebrows and style them in a way that looks good in your face. The ling hair that was trimmed was donated to cancer society through Shamin's contacts. I really really recommend her..she is a great person..great in combine colours and stylist!! I won't go anywhere else.. Hope it helps!!!!!
