| - LIKES:
I like the hardwood floors, however, it does come with a $50 monthly fee. I love the dark wood doors. The lights looks modern but the lighting in the ceiling fans are a little too dim for my liking. The kitchen sink is also very modern. The stove is electric. My favorite part of the house is the rainfall shower. The community offers a theater for its tenants which is pretty cool. Bring your laptop or DVD during office hours, they'll give you the keys, and you are good to go! It's not a 24 hour thing though, it's only open during office hours.
DISLIKES:
APARTMENT:
1. I HATE HOW THERE'S BARELY ANY STORAGE ROOM IN THE APARTMENT!!! The cabinets are too small you can barely fit anything! The walk-in closet only had 2 small shelves! The pantry is small and all the other cabinets in the kitchen.
2. The apartments comes with a HISENSE TV. They say it comes with the rent but what they actually mean is yes, you are paying a monthly fee for the TV so yes, it does come with the rent. I'm not really sure if the TV is optional because when they called to ask me where do I want to install the TV that comes with the apartment, I immediately got excited, because I get a "free TV", signed the papers, and told them to install it in the living room. When you read the paper that they let you sign, it actually says there that it comes with a monthly fee.
3. The washer sucks! Everything is manual and it does not wash well if you have a large load. For the price of the apartment, you'd at least expect a decent washer! Oh, and it came with the wrong manual. The model in the manual is more hi-tech than the washer you actually get.
COMMUNITY:
1. You get an assigned parking but each household can only be assigned for 1 car. So, if you have 2 cars, you'd have to park your 2nd car at the uncovered parking space, which is not that many compared to how many cars there are. You'd literally have to search and fight for a parking spot. What if you have a party and you have visitors?! They should just allow all registered car to park anywhere they want.
2. You pay for rent and you expect to enjoy the community amenities, right? Well, they opened in MAY and I moved in in MAY and until now their pool area is still closed (among other things)!!!
3. I already mentioned the parking hassle and in addition to that, they would close a huge section of the parking lot so that they can strip and put asphalt on the road. So, where did all the cars from that side of the building go? On the other side, fighting for a parking space with all the residents that lives on the other side of the building. I mean, why wasn't this done before they started renting out the apartments?!
Overall, I am not impressed with this apartment. I wish they had everything DONE and TAKEN CARE OF before they started renting out the apartments.
