  • Can't believe this business name still exists. We had an interaction with this business in the mid to late 70's. We were the original owners a girl's stingray bicycle. My sister loved it until it was stolen at Sunnyslope HS. My dad had even registered it with the police in Phoenix. We later saw the bike at our high school and the school helped us cut the chain and take it home. When we reported this to the police they came to our home and took it back. Turns out that a bike store in Sunnyslope, AZ had subsequently resold our bike to another customer. We were informed by the police that the bike store was owned by a police officer who had a connection w police force and resold abandoned bikes. The police informed us that the new owners had more rights than we did to our bike. We were the original owners. Turns out that crime paid. The police were more interested in turning a profit than help out a citizen who had actually gone so far as to register the bike with the police. I don't know if the current owner is the same owner as when we lived in Arizona. We lost our bike twice. Thanks to a cozy relationship between Try Me Bike shop and our trusted local law enforcement agency.
