  • Just moved to Calgary from Los Angeles and I've been terrified of using a new salon up here...after hours of yelp stalking , I decided on Hedkandi at Hotel Arts. I booked a senior stylist, Vanessa and came prepared with a few pictures of what I wanted. She quickly clicked with me in the most amazing way! Her years of experience shined through immediately and I felt at ease 100%. I had waist length long ombre hair that had been untreated for a year and I requested a shoulder length ombre...so a big cut and dramatic color. Vanessa nailed it. She took her time, her assistant was super fantastic and on-pointe. I liked that vanessa really made sure the color was spot on and she wasn't just throwing anything on me. My hair was toned perfectly and the cut is super funky and fresh. The price ended up being $320 before tip. But honestly if you pay $150 for a mediocre hair style and have to redo it again in 3 months, then you're spending the same. Totally worth the price. I'll be back to see Vanessa again!
