Met some friends for lunch when headed from Atlanta to Raleigh for the weekend. They live in NoDa and picked out the place.
It's cozy spot with dark wood, specials on the chalk board, an interesting beverage list, and a small but varied menu. I opted for the crepe special, with broccolini. The crepe was yummy - filling but not overly so. It was a nice break from the usual salads and sandwiches that I eat for lunch.
Anyway, there are 2 reasons this place gets the extra star that says I'm a fan - service and soundtrack. The people were really friendly, gave good suggestions, and very patient with us. As for the soundtrack, I don't remember the individual songs, but I remember them all being ones that I love and that fall into that category of upbeat in a relaxing way.
All in all, definitely a great lunch spot.
