  • Why do I have to give a star? I wish I could deduct a galaxy. Our father died recently and although we have death certificates from both parents, the original document for the family trust and the pour over will (sadly, no one in their "legal department" knows what that is) and our IDs, on this, our THIRD attempt to access our DEAD parents' safe deposit box, we have been turned away again (and this time, they called the security guard when we argued with them!). So much for the white glove treatment for "wealth management" customers. Their affiliate, Merrill Lynch, also sucks in terms of not taking out our fathers RMD when he requested that they do so a week before he died. Can't wait to pull every cent out of this poor excuse for an institution.
