| - Let's start with why I came here. I wanted to make a custom bracelet for my husband. I sat down with Michael to discuss what I wanted done for the custom bracelet. When I sat down, he asked me about my profession, which is fine. He then proceeded to ask how much I make. Simply uncalled for. Despite the amount of money I make, I happen to have a job who's reward is priceless. I teach children with autism to read and write. He should also know that my husband is an international luxury commercial/residential developer, and money is of no issue.
Now let's begin, I brought in some sentimental gold jewelry that I wanted to be used for the bracelet. I wanted the gold I brought in melted, and I wanted more gold added. This did not happen. Michael wrote "trade in on my receipt" and did not melt the gold I brought in, as requested.
Michael did not weight the gold I brought in or tell me anything about the items I brought in. He didn't tell me about the karat value of the items I brought in. However I know the karat value and weight of the items I brought in. For him not to discuss this with me was simply unprofessional.
Michael did not ask me what karat of gold I wanted to use for the bracelet. He told me it was 14k then I found a marking that said 10k? I have yet to bring it elsewhere and confirm the karat of this bracelet. When I called about the issue, they said that they would fix it, and it's just the clasp. We will see.
What else...when I brought it in with concerns over the 10k marking, I also asked that a sharp and unnecessary line inside of the bracelet be removed. I have the bracelet back. The line is still there. I don't want to take the bracelet back here. Not a professional jeweler. Do not go here. I will stick with Leor Yarushalmi at The Jewelers of Las Vegas.
By the way, Michael seemed nice and gave me a couple free show tickets...but if I wanted show tickets, I would have bought some. Good ones. The prices here can be beat at any other retailer.
Bad quality, bad service overall.
