Not sure why this place is always listed on Bar lists. I suspect because it's the only bar on the area with a patio.
Came here w the hubby last weekend and it wasn't good.
The menu has maybe 12 offerings including a charcuterie board, perogies (house specialty), and steamed broccoli poutine (this just sounds gross). We ordered the perogies because if this is the dish they are known for, it'll give us a good idea of how they can execute the rest of the menu. The perogies ($11) for 4 perogies that were burned on one side while barely cooked on the other side, and so minimal stuffing that they were deflated and flat. It was clear the cook put them in the pan and forget about them. They were served with iceberg lettuce and sliced tomatoes which was confusing. Two perogies in we FIND A HAIR. We told the waitress and she offered to bring us another plate, which we politely declined. No thanks.I don't want to eat anything coming out of that kitchen. She could have comped our beers as a gesture but didn't. I wasn't impressed with the whole experience.
They served a few craft beers, and have a back patio. The patio is small and cramped with broken tables. The inside is dark and always empty when we walk by.
We live in the area and go out often. We were disappointed w this one since it's close by. Won't return or recommend to others.
