Review for Service Department:
It was time to get an oil change on my car. I looked around online and Priority Honda had an online coupon for a free oil change for 1st time customers.
Knowing that oil changes at the Dealerships will always end up costing you more somehow, I was okay with that because I want to maintain a great condition on my vehicle.
I called and scheduled my appointment via phone. The lady on the phone was awesome. She was friendly and personable. Making my appointment was a breeze.
We showed up about 20 minutes prior to our appointment time and upon arrival - most employees were pretty helpful. We were immediately greeted by a friendly lady who assisted me. She let us know what to do with our vehicle and showed us where to go - letting me know that anyone at the counter would be able to help us.
We walked in and two employees were helping customers at counters, and there were two more employees with no one at their counters. They did not address me or anyone that walked in after us. That would be my only complaint. Even they just said hi - someone will be with you shortly. So it was awkward for a bit, a bunch of customers just standing around waiting for someone to talk to them.
We didn't wait long - maybe 7 minutes? The lady that helped us was also very friendly. She asked a few repeat questions that they asked me on the phone when setting up the appointment. But that is minor. She set the expectation of how long we would be there - an hour and 15 minutes. Some might say that is a little long for an oil change, but the honesty up front means the most.
And with the waiting area for the service area - the hour and 15 minutes doesn't seem nearly as long. They have the most wonderful massage chairs. Seriously - so wonderful. They have a play area for the kids. They have free popcorn, free coffee and their TV. They did a courtesy phone charging station but when we tried it, it didn't work.
They did the complimentary inspection with our oil change and let us know the additional work that needed to be done. It listed three things and not once they did pressure us or make us feel like we had to get them done right then and there. We did opt to do one repair and was told it would take only about 35 additional minutes.
My only other gripe is that my final charges for service ended up being an additional $14.95 more than the "estimate" price they literally just gave me minutes prior. I didn't notice that literally until now so it is just a mental note that I need to pay more attention next time so that I can ask the questions I need to ask.
Overall, I had a great experience. We will definitely utilize their service department again.
