  • When my boyfriend suggested bagels (and Einstein's) I immediately thought of this bagel place I've seen numerous times driving down Twain. It's one of the only businesses left in this shopping center but it was packed on the Saturday morning we visited. You can seat yourself if you're dining in or order at the counter for takeout. My boyfriend got the bagelwich with a side of potatoes and I got the Burton's 1-2-3-1. We got our food quickly. The portions were huge, especially the side of potatoes. I was a bit confused by dish. The menu said it came with either a plain or onion bialy, but the waitress asked what kind of bagel I wanted so I got an everything bagel. She also asked if I wanted to sub the Swiss for cream cheese (yes sure). The real sadness was that I only got two slices of lox when the "3" in the name is supposed to be 3 slices of lox. I wouldn't care but when I know my dish is almost 3x that of my boyfriends because of the lox alone it was a little disappointing. Also, the "thin" onion slice was not that thin. Overall the meal was enjoyable though. Next time I'll probably opt for some of their cheaper options. It feels like a friendly neighborhood deli and most of the patrons looked like regulars. Definitely giving this another try next time I'm in the mood for a bagel.
