| - I mean, how much of a fan of the gym can you be? As a fat boy, I definitely prefer a beer over a barbell, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Joined EOS Fitness last November and it's been a solid place to get my workout on. As my pictures show, I do not have a body like Adonis. I'm your run of the mill overweight 30-something guy whose just trying to drop some weight and live a more active, healthy lifestyle. Maybe going to Pop's Philly Cheesesteaks wasn't the best idea? Eh, it was.
I lift a little. I use the treadmill. Go in the sauna. Repeat. There was a short time when the grip on one of the lifting machines I use was removed, but it was replaced within a week. The facility is clean. Locker room is clean, but definitely dated. Showers aren't that great and could use some upgrades. Everyone once in a while the sauna doesn't work like it should. Never had any issues with the treadmills or really any of the equipment. I'm typically at the gym around 6am, so it's never that busy but I'm sure in the early evening it's much busier. Not a huge facility. I definitely prefer EOS over LVAC - and their month to month billing options are ideal. If you go to the same location then you can get in for as low as $10 a month (but there is also a sign up fee) and can cancel at any time.
The front desk folks are always greet you nicely when you arrive. This gym is really comfortable, you don't feel like everyone is staring at you and any members I've chatted with have been kind.
Solid gym that provides what it needs to. I need to be better at going. Would like to see some upgrades in the future. That prob won't make me go anymore, but it would be nicer. Now let's go get jaaaacked.
