Wow! We were sitting at another resturaunt in the Epicenter and looking over a menu that looked less than appetizing. My husband jumped on Yelp and discovered this place is only a couple blocks away. This was the best decision of the night! This restaurant has such a cute shabby-chic factor that I love and a few private dining rooms that I'm possibly interested in reserving in the future. My husband and I tried the pot roast, fried chicken, creamed potatoes and gravy, creamed corn, collard greens, green beans, and macaroni and cheese. The sides are the most amazing Southern tasty treats I have ever had! We had banana pudding for dessert and it was so delicious. We brought friends from out of state and they loved it! My husband and I will definitely be back. The great thing about this establishment is that it is completely non profit and all proceeds go to feeding the homeless in Charlotte. What a great way to give back to your community by dining here. This is a must stop for Uptown Charlotte. As an added bonus, there is a full bar!
