| - It's too bad when you have one person be rude & cranky to you that can affect a review. I don't go into this store much because I find it more expensive then Smith's & Wal-Mart. I do my main grocery shopping @ Wal-Mart but will stop by this store or the other one for quick stuff, produce or a great deal on sale items.
So long time ago Albertsons had a card you would have scanned at check out to give you discounts on items or special prices only with the card. The last time I tried to use it they told me they don't do that anymore. This was a long time ago.
While I was looking @ a flyer last month I found some good deals on items but it said it was only that price if it was on your down loaded app. So I went to down load the app. (It recognized me from my email address..) & I down loaded the discounted/sale items I wanted & went in to shop. As I was cashing out & entered my phone number on the pad it couldn't find me. I explained to the lady I had just downloaded the app. & she was super nice & friendly and told me it can take @ least 24hrs to update so she was kind enough & gave me the discounts of the certain items.
Well she accidentally forgot to pack this cute, holiday stuffed animal (moose) I purchased. I didn't realize it until I got home he was missing. So I called customer service they went & found it and was going to save it for me for when I would come in next. They actually called me a couple days later to remind me it was there (which I hadn't forgotten but it was right before Christmas). So on my way home from work Christmas morning I stopped by to pick it up & also some new sale items I had wanted.
As I was cashing out I went to enter my phone number into the pad & it wouldn't take it, said I didn't exist. The cashier...OMG! I think it was Miss. Scrooge.....she was such a grumpy, cranky, no holiday cheer, bad customer service manners, older lady who's name I believe was Debbie! I will double check my receipt. I had explained to her how I had this problem a couple days ago & was told it may take 24hrs to process she says "I don't know how that works, I can't help you out." Funny how the last cashier knew how it worked....hum
So i kindly asked if she could just give me the discounts on the couple items I had wanted & she was hesitant @ first then says "I can only do it this once, but you need to call the number & get this fixed!" So as I was trying to tell her which items they were she was so flustered with me & was like "I know." So I just didn't say anything else. I couldn't believe how mean & cranky this older lady was. Is it because she hates her job? Cause she had to work on Christmas? This is who she is? If so, she shouldn't be working with customers. She really left a bad taste in my mouth because of her horrible customer service behavior & such a negative attitude on Christmas.
So unfortunately due to her horrible customer service skills I have to give this place a 2 star & the fact that they are very pricey.
Now don't be scared away, not everyone I've dealt with behaves as unprofessional as Debbie does.
The first cashier as I mentioned was super nice, also another lady who works in Customer Service who gave me my Xmas moose back was super nice too! (On Christmas Day)
I guess this is one of those examples when one person can ruin it for others. Shame on you Miss. Scrooge.
