  • Top-tier service! I used to get haircuts in random shops wherever it was convenient, but now I stick with Salon de Elephant. Their new location at Yonge-Sheppard is even bigger and brighter, and really matches their energy and style. I truly enjoy the whole experience here. Everyone's friendly, focused, and committed to providing a great service. I only go for the men's haircut which includes two washes and a head massage, but I do see a lot of women get their hair treatments here too. You can probably get far less for around the same price at other places, and if you find cheaper you'll probably get exactly what you paid for. (I still remember the horror that was my $7 haircut in Chinatown years ago). My stylist is Karen who is very accommodating but also helpful in suggesting suitable styles. While I usually ask for simple, clean cuts, the best compliments from friends/co-workers/acquaintances come when I just trust her advice. There's good value in getting a professional stylist set your best look. Overall, a premium experience that's well-worth the visit.
