  • Contrary to popular belief, this place was not the inspiration for Coyote Ugly the Bar or Movie. The movie is actually based on the Coyote Ugly Bar, not this place. Both bars were started in NYC less than six months apart from each other. This place is everything I hate in a bar, loud music is ok, but blasting music is just annoying. Obnoxious Bartenders interrupting every damn song by turning the sound off and yelling through bull horns. Dancing on the frigging bar while I'm trying to enjoy my beer at the bar, and $4.00 for a bottle of water. Yet I stayed here for 4 beers, and spent nearly 3 hours in there. WTF just happened. Oh yeah despite all of the crap I hated, I somehow had a good time, and met some fun people. So yeah if you hate all the things I mentioned then this isn't the place for you, but then again maybe it is!!
