| - Extremely disappointing and would highly discourage anyone considering this place. I was very disappointed from the day one, including being without power in the apartment's bathroom and closet first week with additional $67 fee for that:-(. Yes, I still don't understand why!? Shouldn't I be credited that for the inconvenience? The place is infested with roaches all year around, my bike parked near the apartment was stolen within the first month. I saw police cars inside of the property a few times wondering what additional crime is being investigated so often. The gate code is super simple to remember and has never been changed. The magnetic gate cards were promised, but never distributed. Side/pool gates are either impossible to unlock with the key provided or kept without the locks for several months last year. Garbage and dogs poops are all over the place, but the worst/disgusting and smelly are the containers with garbage/food outside of the containers near the main building. Pool/Grill garbage cans are often overflowing in hot summer days. A/C tends to break frequently in hot Summer (not mentioning how loud it is) and heater tends to break in Winter. It takes forever to have hot water to run in your kitchen or bathroom and the only explanation for that was, "a lot of pipes the water has to run through." The model is nowhere close to represent the actual apartment which is old, has the distinguished (paint/commercial carpet cleaner) odor which takes several months to get rid of. I would definitely do a better job cleaning the carpet myself before moving out, but they don't allow that, forcing to pay for commercial cleaners. The appliances are fairly dysfunctional including microwave that keeps going/spreading radiation after opening the door. It took them about 6 months to replace that microwave, which was only after multiple complaints. The sink,oven, facets were rusty, cheep, and damaged with cabinets having paint all over the edges upon moving in. Inside of the cabinets was rough, unfinished and dirty, feeling uncomfortable to use any of it for food pantry. I was very unhappy when I found out that my apartment was entered without my permission. The neighbors are loud with barking dogs at night and the entire building is shaking when the neighbors use their washing machine during fairly inconvenient time. I was shocked to observe teenagers by the hot tub consuming beer and throwing the empty glass bottles against the pool fence. I would never let my child to run barefoot near that pool after that. The small pool tends to attract birds that like to poop/drink pool water and had drowned in that pool at least once. The only reason for one star besides inability to give zero star, was the prior staff and management which was friendly and tried to help. Unfortunately, they are changing staff and management frequently with the current staff/management being the very opposite of the one from the last year. I am very unhappy here, and 2017 is definitely coming with my notice. I feel very sorry for anyone making the same mistake as I did of leasing from them.
