Took Uber for the first time in Vegas. Their website and app tell you to go to level V at our airport terminal parking garage to pick up your ride. Level V means valet level, not level five! And Level V is actually on the first floor, not the second floor of the parking garage. Once you figure that out, meeting your driver is a breeze!
You cannot pick up a ride on the Strip because access to the street is either fenced off or it is too dangerous. I have no idea how you can get a ride to a restaurant on the Strip that's not located in a casino. Fortunately, the casinos have created areas near the front entrances of each casino for Uber. That's were you pick up rides or get dropped off. Uber drivers are getting used to that, although some drivers told us that some casinos have yet to figure out exactly where to permanently put their Uber spots. And GPS stinks in Vegas, like everywhere else.
Other than than, we loved Uber.
