My advice would be to call your local uHaul directly to make a reservation because they know what trucks they have on their lot. Do not trust the U-haul website because it may not guarantee your truck at the location you choose.
I used the U-haul website to change the location for my pickup for a recent move and the day before got an email to confirm my reservation with the old location. I called corporate customer service and they couldn't not help me and said my location change was not locked in, it was only preferred. They also said that the person I called to confirm the change after this was probably at a call center in Arizona and didn't know what trucks were available. This system has no accountability and no brains!
U-haul needs to make very clear to the customer that website changes may not apply to the reservation or maybe have a real logistical inventory system that doesn't dup people into thinking that their reservation is changed.
Afterwards, I called the Washington Blvd location, and luckily, they had a truck and it was a bigger size, which was great! Nick was very nice and helpful when I called.
I have also used this location in the past with no issues. The only thing I can say is that the gas is too expensive if you return it for them to fill up, but that is not location-specific that I know of.
I give 1 star for corporate U-haul and 4 for this location.
