  • I try to find the positive with places I visit, but man, this place is so so bad. I will not be back and have suggested to my friends in the area to avoid this place! The manager and crappy games really did it in for us. My husband and I decided to have a fun night and visit The Playground, thinking we could have a couple of drinks and play some games. We'd never been there but thought we'd give it a shot! We walked in and noticed it's the exact same lay-out that Fox & Hound was - no biggie, just thought it was the same place, different name? We ordered a couple of drinks at the bar (Tito's and Club Soda with extra lemons & Tito's and Club Soda with a splash of Pineapple Juice with a lime), both drinks came out with slimy garnishes. The bartender was friendly and was pretty quick with taking our order. We grabbed our drinks and headed over to play Pop-A-Shot. We put $1 into one machine, the lights started flashing, the whistle started to whistle, the balls were released and my husband started to play. We realized once the balls were released there were only 2 balls? Anyone who plays this game knows that the game is played with more than two balls, but he kept playing. 10 seconds into the game, the game shut down. No more Pop-A-Shot for you! We shrugged and went to the next game - Air Hockey (I typically dominate him). Again, we put our $1 in the game, the table started to churn the air, the paddles started floating, I had the puck drop on my side, I pick it up and put it on the table and it's truly a PUCK - like straight from the Lake Erie Monsters practice session. It didn't move, we flipped it, rubbed it and begged it - but it was a like a rock. I was laughing at the last several minutes and flagged down a server to share our Air Hockey story. She verified the rock of a puck on the table and took it to the manager. His reply was "call the vendor". He was 100% uninterested in taking care of his customers and continued his conversation in the corner with some other guy. We went back to the bar and paid our tab. We were there on Saturday night, December 30th at 7:30pm. This place is miserable - if you're looking to have a fun night at a place that values it's guests, I beg of you to go elsewhere.
