Woke up in the morning and noticed my 11 year old spaniel having trouble breathing and disengaged. Knew something was wrong so we grabbed him and brought him here. We were told he had an enlarged heart and his health was deteriorating and he was in pain. They recommended to administer some medication for his pain at the clinic, write us a prescription, and to keep him over night for tests. They wrote us a prescription for his heart and gave him a shot that we were told would help with pain from breathing. We couldn't afford to keep him there overnight so we had to take him home. Employees were insensitive and unconcerned. 10 minutes after leaving the clinic we made it home but my dog seemed to be in even worse/critical shape. He was incoherent, and began struggling to breath. He passed away a couple minutes after entering the house. I don't want to go into much detail but it was not peaceful to say the least. It was very unexpected but to experience it the way it happened was tragic and heartbreaking.
