| - Just had the most upsetting experience at the walk in tonight. Came in with complaints of intestinal issues (full disclosure: i have ibs and it happens often). I do not have a family doctor. I rely on this clinic and it's doctors to help me with notes that my work requires me to pay for, for sick days I *do not get paid for*.
The doctor, MARGARET HADDAD, M.D. not only told me how MY ibs typically works, but then when I asked for a note for the day she stated and I say word for word 'Oh yeah? The day after the long weekend?' not even remotely caring about my distress or concern. I exclaimed that actually, I in fact worked all weekend. Saturday, Sunday, and yesterday, the actual holiday. I explained why I thought MY ibs was triggered. She nodded, did not even check my stomach or anything on the table, walked me to reception and said 'I hope you feel better here's your note'.
I am EXTREMELY upset by this, and of course will be calling first thing tomorrow to file a formal complaint. I cannot even begin to tell you how insulted I feel and I am completely taken back by the fact that this doctor would act so unprofessionally.
