  • I had been wanting to try a Dozen cupcake for quite a while. So this year, when my husband moved back to his co's Strip District location, I twisted his arm into getting us a 1/2 dozen to celebrate my birthday. What a disappointment. There wasn't one thing we liked about them - and we just got the regular vanilla and chocolate. They were dry, dry, dry. I don't eat icing, typically, but had to try it just to try and enjoy these. That wasn't very good either. Thankfully my mom forgot about the cupcakes and also brought a cake to celebrate. We didn't finish any of the cupcakes we tried, tossed the rest out and enjoyed the local grocery store bakery's cake instead.
