Going with a California feel, the restaurant looks like a beach house with huge wraparound patio. Evenings in Arizona get cool and dark quick, maybe some overhead heaters and patio lights/lanterns might make dining outside a bit more enjoyable.
The food is ok - throwing some ginger dressing and crispy wontons on shredded cabbage and lettuce doesn't constitute as making something "Asian" to me, but to each their own I suppose. Dumplings are crisp and meaty, no doughy filler which is always appreciated. Mussels are in a flavourful tomato sauce and truffle fries are a little overwhelming (yes, there is such thing as too much truffle oil)
Overall, decent place but it wouldn't be my first choice.
