The sales consultant started off the appointment by asking me what I was looking for and allowing me to choose 3 gowns that I really wanted to try on.
There was not a single dress that I wanted to try on.
To appease the consultant and ladies I went shopping with, however, I picked 3 dresses. The consultant hooked me up with a corset that managed to be both uncomfortable and unflattering, and left me in a mirrorless fitting room to dress myself. The fabric of the dress swallowed up the entire dressing room like the sea, which was too small for adults of all sizes.
I should probably also mention that I was literally allergic to the dress. The material was comparable to a Halloween costume I had as a kid that itched like hell but I insisted on wearing trick-or-treating anyway.
Some people have had a good experience here. I am not one of those people. I would recommend looking up their dresses online before shopping in person. If you don't love the gowns pictured, keep in mind that they won't get better looking in the store.
