| rev:text | When I talked with Eric yesterday, he seemed extremely knowledgeable and I appreciated him fitting me into the schedule today. Expecting Eric today, Robert showed up. While my bathroom clog was a little more complicated, a $135 rooting job turned into a $200 job. Understanding that complication costs money, I needed my drains fixed. I appreciated that Robert called me twice to try to explain what he was doing, but it seems the job could have been completed in less than the 2.5 hours it took since Robert was on the phone most of the time he was here. He would come in for a few minutes then head outside for a call for a few minutes, then come inside, then go outside for a few more minutes (as per my mother in law). Either he was taking personal calls, or he didn't know what he was doing and was asking someone else for advice. Either way, if you hire a plumber, you expect someone competent.
Another gripe I have is we discussed a price of $200 when he called me at work after he started working and found a solution. I come home to find out that he tried to swindle my mother in law for an extra $25 which she refused. He also "attempted" at cleaning up the mess. There was sewage water all over the bottom of the cabinet, on my walls, even on my toothbrush. Seriously, that's gross. |
