This place was on my bookmark for a long time and after I heard they are closing this location at the end of this month to relocate to the Wiggly Mansion, I wanted to try here before then.
The chef is known for foie gras. I ordered 3oz of it for my appetizer. It was so rich and creamy in texture, loved every bite of it. Nicely presented, 3 oz may seem small but since it is so rich, portion was perfect. If I were younger, my body might have been able to accept more as they have larger portion size available.
For my main, I had rack of lamb. I really like lamb anywhere and I tend to order one whenever I see one on the menu. I knew I wanted to try here too and was glad I did.
When I tasted butter served with complimentary bread, I knew their dessert was going to be good. Their butter tasted like grass-fed. I didn't ask to be sure but I really liked their butter. I was right about dessert. Be sure to leave some room for dessert as they were good. Perfect way to end perfect meal.
I really loved how each dish was presented. It was so pretty, it was like an art.
Excellent service made it cherry on top to my visit here. Server said they are open until 1/27, then reopen at the new location on 2/1. I hope I can try their food again either here or at their new location.
