My wife and I ate there to celebrate her birthday, although a little early. Stopped by around 2PM to make a reservation and the girl seemed to be bothered by the request. The first thing that put me off was the fact that most people were wearing jeans and t-shirts, a few had shorts. When I am spending $300 on a special occasion I like to dress up a little, if I wanted to sit next to loud and drunk people in jeans and sneakers I could have saved over $200. Service was very good but not perfect, plates stayed on our table for 10 minutes after we were done. Filet mignon was the best I ever had while the rib-eye was ok, lots of fat and one side was very tough. Both meat dishes were done as we ordered. Quail appetizer was sublime, I would like to see them try this with duck or pheasant. Asparagus side was very good while the scalloped potatoes were very very rich, enough for 4 people. Creme brulee was good but on a saucer plate and only 1/2 deep. Espresso was the worst I have ever had, looked it was a cafe latte as it was not black. Waiter took it off the bill and said it was a little lite? We will go back for the filets and the quail.
