| - The room is nice, if you're not going to be cold or hungry. For some reason the heater was broke when me and my husband went to spend a stay-cation there and it was freezing! They comp'd us a room after much debate. We reported it, they sent someone to repair it at 9am the next morning- we were checking out in just a few hours. (The room for the night was $395 plus tax and resort fees) and we couldn't get out of the blankets to even enjoy the tub. We returned for our "comp room" 2 months later in the summer so it was definitely warmer- there was nothing exciting about the room to justify $400, but the food is the biggest issue there. For 1 order of breakfast, 2 pieces of bread, 1 glass of OJ, and tea cost us $105. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again. We're locals that love exploring new spots- but seriously spending over $600 dollars before you can hit the tables is ridiculous. The tip is mandatory and included in your bill. So are the resort fees. The "mandatory" makes the servers act strange, overly nice, hovering over you, asking if your water is fine, it's a bit ridiculous.
