We probably go here once a month. Great neighborhood, good food and great beers and wine by the glass, all at a reasonable price. It's one of our few go-to's that isn't in the super pricey category. Park across the street behind the building with the Fifth Third bank in it if you can't find space on the street or in the small lot behind the restaurant. Cool kids pass their ticket to those coming in and save a new friend the $5!
Atmosphere is cozy and casual. Have been there plenty of times when all tables are full and never too loud.
French onion soup is a good preparation and the bowl is a massive cheesy crock of goodness.
Steak frites with Hangar steak as the cut is delicious. Always order med rare and it always comes out that way. Fries are delicious hand cut shoestrings. Great pan sauce served atop. Always a winner and fairly priced around $23. Very big portion.
I love the burger there. Fancy cheese and crispy fried onion strings. Great bun and served with the aforementioned fries for $12 is a good one.
Daily muscles special that works well as a big app or a small dinner. Never had a bad one and they serve with nice crusty bread to sop up the sauce.
Beer list is always impressive and changing, and I like that they have a lengthy list of wines by the glass all for $6.
Crepes Suzette for desert is so, so good. Not too sweet and have to try a crepe when you're there.
