The Asbury is a nice brunch spot that is part of the Dunhill hotel. I came here with a few girlfriends on a Saturday morning and we were seated fairly quickly. We ordered two pitchers of mimosa which were pretty good and maw maws cast iron biscuits and deviled eggs to start. I ordered the chicken and waffles as my entree and wasn't impressed. The chicken was nicely seasoned but not crispy and the waffles were soggy. The syrup they give you is more like honey, and I don't enjoy honey on my waffles. Additionally the plate is topped off with sauteed greens (collard greens I think?) that were strangely sweet. My friend ordered the Mac and cheese which was tasty so I ate some of that instead. For the price the Asbury charges, I expected better quality food. On the bright side, our server was really friendly and attentive. If I'm in the area again, maybe I'll give the Asbury another try and order something different.
