The previous two reviewers stayed at this place about three years ago, so please ignore most of the negatives from their experiences, as a lot seems to have been updated.
I stayed here with a group of friends this past weekend for World Pride and the location was absolutely perfect. It's practically directly across the street from Wellesley Station and is super convenient. Yes, the rooms are a bit small, but that's generally how it goes with boutique hotels. It's an old converted house, not a giant modern hotel.
The wifi was free and worked just fine. The room we stayed in was a suite with two adjoining bedrooms, with separate remote-controlled air conditioning units (which was amazing in the crazy heat and humidity that weekend). I also have to point out that the doors and windows are very solid and did a great job of blocking out the noise from the massive street festival happening right outside the hotel. I was a little concerned that it would be too loud to sleep, and that was absolutely not an issue. The only minor problem we had was with the front door- it was challenging to get the key card to actually unlock that door, but there was always another guest outside to help us out.
Overall, I was very happy with this hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it.
