| - For better or worse, we tend to get to Kristophers about every year, and generally there is a race on one (or more) of their many screens. One year it was the Kentucky Derby. One year, the Indy 500. And so on.
What's even stranger is that we don't do this on purpose, it just happens. Perhaps helped by the fact that they have a bunch of televisions, so it's rather simple to catch some sporting event on at any given time, and there is generally someone racing something somewhere around the planet, but still.
The place itself tends toward the dark side - meaning that there isn't much light inside, not that it is run by the Sith - this is mostly because it's on the bottom floor of the building and the windows just don't let in much light. There are some tables outside, but even if there are no people there, it has a generally dank and smoky smell. Not bad if you like that sort of thing, but not what most people want in a patio.
When it comes to food, the selection is rather spectacular - note that it's selection, not so much the food itself. There is something for everyone here, from vegetarians to those just wanting a hot dog. When delivered, the food is pretty straight-up pub fare, but there is plenty of it.
