| - I love Four Queens Hotel. Although my yelping is alittle late, but it's better than never...anyway...
It's not on the strip!!!
It's actually a few block away..and it has it's own little small strip called the freemont street experience in downtown Las Vegas. Smaller Casino resorts style. Next to it is the Golden Nugget Casino...
The attraction consists of performances, souvenirs booth..etc, and became popular for tourist attractions...
I booked it thru hotels.com, which surprisingly, we got a good deal. Forgot the total, but it was less than $200 for two nights. The room we got was for one bed, very clean with a nice, soft, comfortable clean bed/room. I think the bed we got is dif than other rooms..as we saw as we walked by when the maid were cleaning. The room style was filled with dark oakwood furnishings. Clean curtains. AC was not loud at all...T.V was a bit small compared to others I've stayed in. Room size was perfect for two people. The restroom was a bit small..but if it's clean that's all that matters.
The room we were in over viewed the freemont strip, so even when you're in the room you can hear all the performances going down there even when we're at the higher levels. I didn't mind, because I really felt like I was in Vegas. The casino was very clean, smaller than the major casino on the main strip but good enough to play.
The only downside for me about Four Queen is you have to drive to the strip. If I didn't care about hanging at the major casinos on the strip as much, and didn't mind the traffic, I would choose 4Queens all the time.
So remember there is always traffic in Vegas esp on the strip. It took us about 30 mn sitting in the bumper to bumper traffic just to get to Ceasar from 4Queen, and wo traffic it would be about 7 minutes...take that into consideration.
