This building is beautiful, but it is depressing how downhill it has gone, in terms of functionality over the last decade. When I first started working downtown, there was a great Ann Taylor as well as some other good shopping. Not anymore...
There also used to be a McDonald's. Once I was waiting in line there, and there was a gentleman in a wheelchair in front of me, who unfortunately was missing both legs. He was, however, wearing one artificial lady leg complete with fishnet thigh-high and cheap stiletto. I'll never forget his lunch order: six double cheeseburgers and four apple pies.
There is still food available, though. I think the Sarku Japan place is still open, and both Sausalito and Wink's are really good, too.
