| - About six months ago, I had tried out FitPrep to save some time, and was satisfied with the variety of proteins and vegetables offered, with the huge bonus that all of the meals were gluten-free. Admittedly, we had a snafu where the driver assumed my number had been written down wrong, texted the wrong number and my food was left out in the Vegas summer heat for hours. FitPrep was kind enough to refund me for their mistake.
Fast forward to an incredibly hectic month, and my returning to give FitPrep a second chance. My first of two deliveries was mostly satisfying: chicken, ground turkey, and pork (no fish this time), with a variety of vegetables; however, as a company that touts itself as "paleo", almost every meal contained white potatoes. In addition, while there was typically the 4oz of protein, I was lucky to have 2oz of carbohydrates and 2oz of vegetables.
While some of this could be general oversight, and nothing glaringly offensive, the second delivery was downright infuriating. As previously mentioned, my key reason for choosing FitPrep was their "100% Gluten-Free" ingredients. So imagine my surprise when 6/9 meals contain couscous (confirmed enthusiastically via email from a CS representative) and another contained spaghetti. Not only are the meals not labeled (thank goodness I can recognize couscous over quinoa), but for a company that advertises GF to include wheat ingredients in over two-thirds of the meals?! Unacceptable, and I will NEVER order from them again.
