  • We have used GP A/C and Heating several times in the past seven years. When we had a problem with the heater they had to come in a couple of times to fix and try out different parts. The subsequent visits they did not charge any labor or travel costs. The 15 yr old system is humming like new after that. We had a rather cold/hot area in our house and were wondering if it needed an additional split AC or separate unit, I called Gary for an estimate to install a new split unit. He could have given me the estimate and could have happily charged me $3000 instead he climbed into the attic to check what else could be wrong and identified issues with the insulation above that area and the return feed. He opted to try and fix those issues before we do the new AC. He charged a very nominal labor for the work and 20 minutes after the work the room temperature raised by 3 degrees with the heater still off. -- Update -- Called Gary just last week complaining that AC running for ever with no cooling. He climbed up into the roof, found out that the variable speed motor had given up on our new home, he called the manufacturer, found the warranty, got them honor it, drove 40 miles across town to get the motor replaced, came back and replaced all for less than 1/4th of the cost it would have taken to replace that motor alone. From my call to him about the dead system to a running system 6 hrs flat. I would highly recommend Gary and GP AC & Heating. Ultra Efficient, Super honest, Super reliable, Extremely dependable.
