  • I have been to Asian grocery stores all over the country. I practically grew up in them. A-Mart is the only store I have been to where the employees are not only NOT nasty, they are downright friendly. I thought it was a fluke the first time I went there...it wasn't. Every time I go, I am greeted with a smile and end up having a conversation with someone. Besides the nice people, A-Mart is clean, spacious, and priced fairly. It has a good selection of basic ingredients, including produce and meats, but just in case it doesn't carry what you need, Hyvee and Copps are right across the street.
