  • I was a previous Sam's Club member and had let it lapse for about a year and a half. I just prefer Costco but Groupon was running a membership deal so I figured I would give it another try. Sam's does carry some items that I cannot find at Costco like cleaning and pet supplies. I'm also a fan of their home selections like small appliances, dishes, and kitchen items and it is never as crowded as Costco. Unlike Costco their warranty is not as good and if you want an extended warranty on certain items you have to purchase it separately whereas at Costco your membership is your warranty. Having additional low cost gas options in town is also a perk of the membership.
