| - Overall, I've always really liked Restoration Hardware - I've bought great furniture and linens from there. The store itself is awesome - the setup is great; you really get to feel the vibe of how all the furniture works together.
However, I always find the salespeople I encounter at this location are a bit snooty and disinterested. I went last week to pick up a duvet cover (which I love). Not one salesperson approached me to help.
Considering there were a ton of employees in the store, I was surprised that no one chose to offer any help. There was a lot of talking amongst themselves, but no interest in helping the customers.
When I got to the counter, no eye contact, just "do you want to buy that?" and then the man at the counter talked to his colleague the entire time. No customer service. Zilch.
The other time I went with my partner and one of the salespeople said hello - my partner didn't hear her and I happened to see the salesperson then physically roll her eyes - dramatically - and scoff.
For how expensive this place is, I truly expect a higher level of customer service. It's really not hard to be friendly, kind, respectful and helpful.
I hate leaving negative reviews, but I'm really hoping that a customer service manager will read this and try to make it better.
Until then, when I want to shop at RH, it'll be online.
