| - Did you really go to Vegas if you didn't snap a pic or 10 with the iconic Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas sign? That's right, I didn't think so.
I've been to Las Vegas on several occasions in the past when I was younger for family vacations and what not and I've lived in the valley for nearly five years, but never have I ever been to this historic landmark. It truly is a site to see, considering some of the most famous hotels on the southern end of the Strip sit in the background.
We came on a Saturday to take a few photos for a friend who is graduating from UNLV this spring and surprisingly, we were lucky enough to snag a parking spot. The parking is very limited, but with the constant flow of people, there are always spots opening up. Despite the mass of people waiting in line, we were only standing there for about 15 minutes before it was our turn.
You'll definitely see a lot of characters come through here. At least we did! We saw an Elvis with a massive beer belly, a man in a neatly pleated kilt, bagpipe and all, and lots of newlyweds!
This is a must-do, especially if you're a tourist visiting Las Vegas for the fist time. It's free and better yet, it's a memory that'll last you a lifetime.
