It's been years since my last visit to Silverton. I still remember when it was known as Boomtown. The family and I decided to have dinner at the Season Buffet prior to stopping by since a few of our friends mention that their is a Mermaid Show at select times. I highly reccomend that you check or call ahead if they are performing.
I didn't realize that this aquarium was big. Its not your typical aquarium but it was large enough to accommodate a large variety of fishes and sea life. When we finally arrived to the show, the Mermaid appeared and started waving at guests and was doing aquatic moves by flipping backwards and twirling. Then my Siblings and I started singing, "Look at this stuff, isn't neat. Wouldn't you think my collection is complete..., Part of that World," you get the idea!!Actually there was a good amount of people channeling their inner Disney Movies. The Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo.
It was a cool to see young kids, adults and elderly ones just enjoying the free show and was kinda of a nice way to de-stress and absorb the tranquil atmosphere. If Im ever in the area with family and friends. I would stop by again to check this place out. Plus it adjacent to the Bass Pro Shop, which is an adventure itself.
