| - Came into town to see a baseball game, stayed at the Crowne Plaza. Friendly, prompt staff. Clean facilities. Hotel is at the tail end of a renovation, I think. A little worn around the edges, you can tell it's had some mileage in its past life but it's well-kept. Everything was clean and functional. Comfortable beds. Great location, easy to get to (except for construction, which isn't their fault).
This is true for most hotels of this caliber, but the walls allowed for sound to travel easily and we could hear other people who were being loud. Fortunately the hotel wasn't too busy while we were there (a Sunday through Tuesday).
Free parking! Not a lot of things within walking distance, but there's shops, fast food and local restaurants within a 5 minute drive or less.
The bathroom was pretty tiny in our room, which was a 2 Full Beds room. I'm guessing they are all the same but I'm not sure. Most rooms have nice views of the hillsides or of the pool. The pool itself was clean, but could have used more frequent towel stocking. It's outdoor-only, so it's a bit temperature-dependent. I do not think that it's heated.
Bonus: I swear we saw Harry Stiles in the pool while we were there (we're not fans, but One Direction had just played a concert the night we arrived).
