This was my first experience with Greek Isles and I have to say I'm impressed.
We had a group of 11 people and the service was exceptional. Our server was very friendly and attentive and there was a "waterboy" who was constantly filling up everyone's glasses. You didn't have a chance to drink half the glass before it was refilled again. Some restaurants could learn from this.
It was 1/2 price martini night and after my weekend, I needed a few and 4 $4 Red Velvet Bull martinis did quite the trick. They also came out in a very timely manner.
Some of our group ordered appetizers and the biggest hit was the flaming cheese which was flavorful but the best part of it was when they lit in on fire.
The menu has a wide selection of beef, lamb, fish, and chicken selections. I went with the Mediterranean Chicken which came with "avgolemono sauce, rice pilaf and green beans braised with tomatoes". The sauce was flavorful, the chicken was tender and the beans were quite savory. The rice was ok but if you've read my other reviews you know I'm not a big rice eater.
Some of us ordered dessert and sampled each others...The Galaktobouriko was a lemon custard in filo dough which was very light actually. The only thing I didn't like was the sauce on top was a little too sweet for my tastes. The other desserts were sampled by everyone at our table. The Baklava, doughnuts and rice pudding were all wonderful but just a little sweet like my dessert.
Overall this was a wonderful dining experience at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a return trip!
