| - You can't beat this location. I'll say it again. You can't beat this location. Having said that (twice), know that these apartments are older and not going to have those fancy schmancy upgrades you'll find in the $900-$1000/month places. Very dog friendly, which means that people are out walking their dogs all the time. My point is that not very much happens crimewise around here since there are folks watching everything with their dogs. I have quiet, polite neighbors that say hi when they see me. Maintenance is on top of stuff should something need fixing. Office staff is more than competent and takes care of things. One problem I find is that because it's an older place, the HVAC doesn't seem to work as efficiently as I think it should. Also, some people may find it a drawback, but your washer and dryer are in the storage area on your patio. Doesn't bother me a bit, but some people may not like that. I get good FREE reception from my indoor antenna (no cable). You can walk to everything nearby (shopping, movies, library, parks). Covered parking and plenty of trash receptacles. Also, as a hiker, I love being so close to Red Rock and Spring Mountain Ranch. Sometimes the kids out playing can get a bit noisy, but I dare you to find any apartment complex in Vegas that is dead quiet on the weekends. There's a small gym onsite, but I've never used it, so I can't opine on that. The greenbelt in Peccole Ranch is just across the street and it's a great place for running or walking. I believe it has a frisbee golf course as well. Ok, I've said enough.
